The quandary about Quince

Loads of people have asked me for recipes to use with the sun-dried quince. My most common response is that its a perfect companion with cheese on a platter. This is certainly the season. I especially like it with a hard goat's cheese (Barossa Cheese LaDame is my total favourite).

My Classic Riverland Summer Platters

Let's face it you don't need a recipe for a platter, well I don't think so. Some say it's a whole sensory experience- that is probably true. I often don't get much chance to plan a platter, beyond making sure I have our figs, pecans, quince and a range of other local produce in the fridge and pantry.
